Heat networks will form a critical part of the future energy mix to make achieving net zero a reality. It’s important to reduce customer detriment to improve consumer confidence in the technology.

After an overview and introduction to the Heat Network Efficiency Scheme, Stephen Knight from the Heat Trust will cover best practice with regards to consumer protection in heat networks, and the challenges the industry faces. The Guinness Partnership, a successful HNES applicant, will provide a case study on how they approached customer detriment in their application. There will also be opportunity for Q&A, where you can ask project specific questions.
